Our remanufactured compressors for Thermo King are completely rebuilt, meaning no "old" parts are reused or reconditioned.
The compressor is fully disassembled, and the housing is cleaned using a professional industrial washing machine and, if necessary, blasted. New parts are then installed.
After assembly, the compressor undergoes a three-step leak test using CO2 (10-20-30 bar).
Additionally, where possible, the compressor is submerged in a dip tank to ensure it is entirely leak-free.
Our remanufactured compressors are supplied with new OEM-qualified oil, the required discharge and suction gaskets, and a dryer. A dryer must always be replaced when a compressor is replaced.
Compressors are oversized, meaning they cannot be shipped via parcel service but must be sent on a pallet through a freight carrier.
For remanufactured compressors, the old compressor must be returned, type for type—for example, an X426 compressor exchanged for an X426 compressor.
A deposit is charged on all remanufactured compressors, which will be credited or refunded once the old/defective compressor is returned, inspected, and found to be in order.
For some TK compressors, steel rings were placed in the compressor housing in the past. These rings were used to accommodate tolerances between the housing and the main bearing. Unfortunately, we cannot accept these compressors.
All cast parts must be in good condition. If cast parts are unusable, the full deposit amount will not be credited. Instead, the cost of a replacement part will be deducted from the deposit. For unusable compressor housings, the full deposit amount will be withheld. We will contact you by phone or in writing to explore alternative solutions if necessary.
