Flush Solvent for Refrigeration Systems – Professional Cleaning

A flush solvent is a specially developed cleaning fluid designed for the internal cleaning of refrigeration and air conditioning systems. It is used to remove contaminants from pipes and components, such as old compressor oil, metal particles, acid residues, and sludge deposits.

The product is formulated to evaporate quickly and leave no residue. This ensures that the system remains clean and completely dry, which is essential for reliable operation and long service life.

Flush solvent is primarily used when replacing a compressor, after a compressor burnout, during major repairs, or when converting to a different refrigerant or oil type. In these situations, it is critical to completely remove all internal contamination to prevent damage to new components.

The flushing process must always be carried out on an empty system from which the refrigerant has been properly recovered. The solvent is introduced using a flushing gun or flushing unit and circulated through the lines, condenser, and evaporator. The system is then thoroughly blown out with nitrogen to remove any remaining solvent and loosened debris. Afterward, new components such as a filter drier are installed, the system is evacuated, and finally recharged with the correct oil and refrigerant.

A high-quality flush solvent is characterized by fast evaporation, residue-free performance, strong cleaning power, and compatibility with various types of oil and refrigerant residues. It should also be non-corrosive to metal components within the system.

The use of a flush solvent is a critical step in the professional maintenance and repair of refrigeration systems. Especially after a compressor burnout, thorough flushing is essential to eliminate acid contamination and prevent recurring system failures.
